Scope of works/ Services include:

  • assist the Vanuatu Government to develop and promote trade, investment and tourism opportunities between Vanuatu and Australia and Vanuatu and New Zealand;
  • advice the Vanuatu Government on opportunities for expanding trade and economic relations;
  • attract and mobilize resources for large scale investments in Vanuatu;
  • assist the Vanuatu government to identify and negotiate new opportunities and arrangements for seasonal employment and labour mobility for ni-Vanuatu;
  • mobilize resources to capitalize on new and existing opportunities for seasonal employment and labout mobility;
  • mobilize resources to capitalize on new and existing opportunities for seasonal emaployment and labour mobility;
  • work closely with existing Trade Commissioners of Vanuatu in relation to their respective jurisdictions on opportunities and arrangements for seasonal employment and mobility;
  • assist the Ministry in liaising with these Trade Commissioners and in their ongoing monitoring;
  • provide other services as requested and directed by the Ministry and Department;
  • undertake any such other functions as may be assigned to you by the Minister and Director General fo the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
