Committee on Privileges, Immunities, Entitlements and Parliamentary Rights
The key responsibilities of Committee on Privileges, Immunities, Entitlements and Parliamentary Rights are:

To examine and, from time to time, ascertain, Privileges, Immunities, Entitlements and parliamentary Rights of members as provided under Section 27 of the Constitution of the Republic of Vanuatu.

To consider any question as to whether a Member has been validity charged, arrested, detained, in compliance with the provisions of Article 27 of the Constitution, and to report to Parliament for its determination;

To enquire into any case of contempt to Parliament which is referred to it by Parliament, and to report to Parliament upon that case for its determination;

To review for the time being and from time to time Members Expenses and Allowances as provided for under Parliament (Members Expenses and Allowances) Act, CAP. 109).
and included such other duties as are assigned to the Committee by the Standing Orders approved by Parliament
