Leader of Opposition Whip

The Leader of Opposition Whip is responsible for the Opposition Members discipline and behavior on the floor.

The main responsibility of the Opposition Whip is to:

• Order the arrangements of the number and each political party in Opposition speaks in debates.
• Work with the Leader of Opposition to allocate priority and times for House business and also for Private Members Business.
• Ensure all Members on the Opposition are present to take part in votes in the chamber. Leader of Opposition Whip do not hold official office, but they are recognized by parliamentary purposes.
