The Parliament of Vanuatu is proud to announce the successful completion of its basic INTRANET Training Program for staff members. The training sessions, which took place on Friday 14th June 2024, were designed to enhance internal communication, collaboration, and productivity within the organization.

The training program was led by Mr Jean Regis DELAVEAU, Applications Development Administrator, under the ICT Unit of the Parliament of Vanuatu, who provided in-depth instruction on navigating and utilizing INTRANET’s various features. Staff members from various divisions and units participated in the session, gaining valuable insights and practical skills to optimize their use of the INTRANET.

Highlights of the Training Program:

  • Effective Navigation: Participants learned how to efficiently navigate the INTRANET, ensuring quick access to important information and resources.
  • Enhanced Collaboration: The training covered the use of collaboration tools such as document sharing, team spaces, and communication channels, enabling staff to work together more effectively.
  • Customization Techniques: Employees were shown how to customize their INTRANET experience to better suit their individual needs and preferences.
  • Best Practices: The sessions included best practices for using the INTRANET to streamline daily tasks and enhance overall productivity.

“We are thrilled with the success of the INTRANET training program,” said Ezra Dick, ICT Manager at the Parliament of Vanuatu. “Our staff now have the skills and knowledge to fully leverage the capabilities of our INTRANET system, which will significantly improve our internal communication and operational efficiency.”

The feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing appreciation for the practical knowledge and skills gained during the training.

Participation Certificates were also handed out to all participants after the training, by the Acting Clerk of Parliament, Mr. Leon TETER.
