On Thursday, October 17, Mr Wang RONG, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Yancheng Municipal People's Congress, visited the Parliament of Vanuatu to enhance bilateral relations and discuss collaborative projects.
He thanked the Speaker, Hon. Simeon SEOULE, for highlighting the funding and successful execution of several initiatives that have greatly contributed to Vanuatu’s development.
During the meeting, Mr. Wang introduced his province of Yancheng, emphasising its economic growth and potential for future cooperation.
Following the exchange of gifts symbolising the friendship between Yancheng and Vanuatu, he warmly invited the Speaker to visit his province.
Mr. Wang’s delegation, comprising around 20 members, underscored Yancheng’s commitment to strengthening ties with Vanuatu.
This visit highlights both regions’ dedication to sustainable development and the well-being of their citizens.
